Among the many things that Americans have been criticizing in recent years, Tesla vehicles are among them. While some enjoy them and think they are helpful in some capacity, several others think they are ugly, a way to support a questionable corporation, and just something that shouldn’t be in the streets. Naturally, now that the first Cybercab has appeared in Arizona, people have started finding its flaws, saying that even if the vehicle is useful in some ways, some would never even dare to get one for themselves.

The image was shared by Reddit user ChorizoSan, who spotted the Cybercab on Phoenix, Arizona, between 44th St. and Oak. As you know, however, this new vehicle has been the cause of debate among many, especially since the design is a bit questionable, especially for a vehicle of commercial use.

For starters, many have been questioning the overall design, saying that a taxi shouldn’t only have two seats, as that’s not really useful for what it’s supposed to be used for. On top of that, several think that the design is still questionable to say the least, as it doesn’t look attractive whatsoever. And if that wasn’t enough, the whole autonomous vehicle debacle is still a hot topic across the country. As many may know, there have been a few incidents in Texas, so many think that something similar may happen in Arizona, now that Cybercabs are running wild.

Arizona Residents Are Not Impressed by the New Cybercab

As soon as Redditors saw the picture, they started sharing their thoughts on the vehicle, which, as you can imagine, were mostly negative. Some people focused on the strange design, others on the fact that autonomous vehicles aren’t that great, and others just said that they won’t purchase the car at all, or even get inside one for that matter.

“Zero percent, I’m getting in one of them.“

“Looks like a car from the Tron movies.“

Others have also reported more Cybercab sightings across the state.

“I saw one this morning in Scottsdale around Thomas and Hayden. Why make a cab that’s a two-door? Doesn’t make sense.“

In the end, it is up to people to decide whether to get one or not, or even to use one. However, it seems that people are not happy that self-driving vehicles are invading the roads little by little. Yet, some hope that this time, there won’t be any bad situations with this new car.
