A lot of people were waiting for the No-Kings protests to see what the outcome would be and how things would go. It ended up that most of these protests were peaceful as was intended. Despite the large crowds, protesters managed to keep any hostility at bay most of the time. However, there were some incidents in different areas where chaos took place. Most, if not all, of these incidents started because of Trump supporters who were looking for trouble. One incident was that of a Colorado agitator who went to a protest while being armed.
In the video taken of the incident, you can see the Colorado woman with a gun holstered at her waist. It’s very clear to anyone who would look at her. She is seen arguing with one of the protesters as security guards are standing right next to the altercation. Being an agitator, she tried to escalate things by reaching out to her gun to use it. Thankfully, she regretted her decision immediately because security slammed her to the ground. They stopped her from causing a disaster. Unfortunately, the guards seemed to be organizers instead of police officers. They were wearing vests with the word security on them. It’s not clear if police later arrested the armed woman or not.
People Reacting to the Armed Colorado Agitator’s Beahvior
People were grateful for the fact that someone filmed what happened. The video could be used as evidence if needed. In addition to this, its content was enough to leave several people upset. Some believed that she was hoping to be cheered on by MAGA if she managed to shoot protesters. “She was looking to be a MAGA hero and monetize it,” one person wrote. Many also believed that she wouldn’t face any consequences due to how current events where several people got away with their crimes. “She probably has a gofundme already set up describing how she was under attack by the wheel mob,” someone said. Another person wrote, “Now, trump will offer her a cabinet position.”
Since the video caught the Colorado agitator reaching for her gun, one person made sure to explain that she was planning to use it. “Open hand over the gun, looking straight at it, starts to close her hand while moving her shoulders to allow her to unholster it then gets tackled,” they wrote. Someone else believed that “She was looking for an excuse” to use her gun. One Redditor hoped that she would face consequences as they wrote, “hopefully that’s a felony and she wont be able to legally own guns again.” People, however, were quick to say that nothing would happen to her. “So what you’re really saying is, she’ll be pardoned by Trump and given a cabinet position?” one person replied. It would actually be insane if she got away with this.
