Arnold Schwarzenegger (helped by James Corden and a few props) act out snippets from classic “Arnie” movies on The Late Late Show.
Brilliant stuff. Although I’m not a huge James Corden fan, I can appreciate the feeling of meeting one of your heroes, and that is probably something I’m a little envious of him for. Arnold is one of my favourites, I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for him, and I hope in 10 years time, we can put together another compilation of more classic Arnold Schwarzenegger one liners. Heck, if you’re interested, here is one of my favourite compilations below. Enjoy.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is also starring in Maggie which is due to be shown on 8th May 2015. The film tells the story of a deadly zombie virus that has put a plague on the world. When Maggie, a vivacious young woman becomes infected, her father brings her home to let her be with their family. As Maggie’s condition worsens, their relationship is tested, a father’s love holding on stronger than the disease. This heart-wrenching twist on the zombie apocalypse puts a human face on an inexplicable horror. This for me, is like all my birthdays coming at once, I get my childhood movie star hero in a zombie movie. Anyone can tell you that when it comes to zombie movies, I’m there, front row, centre. Its interesting that in a world where we once longed for a decent zombie experience, but now we are overwhelmed with zombies in video games, we get a zombie movie. I wonder what took Hollywood so long to jump on board? Oh wait…Warm Bodies kind of ruined any chances of that happening soon. Honestly, I’m really looking forward to seeing the big guy back on the big screen. I think seeing him play a very serious role in a movie like this will be a great breath of fresh air and perhaps could lead to seeing more of Arnold.
