The Arrowverse is gearing up for another epic crossover event. Spanning over three nights (sorry Legends of Tomorrow), “Elseworlds” will be the universe’s introduction to Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. Not only that, but it appears that the crossover will feature revised versions of our established Arrowverse characters.
CW has released the first teaser trailer for “Elseworlds”. You can see that teaser trailer down below:
Well, that was weird.
It appears that our Earth-1 Oliver wakes up one morning to discover that somehow history has been changed and he is now The Fastest Man Alive, Barry Allen. At least Iris’ cooking has improved in the new timeline. It’s also hard to not think that this is Barry’s fault somehow.
If you remember, a few weeks ago Stephen Amell revealed the first poster for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover that featured Barry Allen actor Grant Gustin as the Green Arrow and Amell as The Flash. It seems that this teaser sheds a little bit of light on what exactly is going on in this crossover.
My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. pic.twitter.com/TibqsR7mT8

About a week later, Amell dropped another bombshell on Arrowverse fans by revealing John Wesley Shipp in his old Flash gear. The actor had played the scarlet speedster in the 1990s The Flash TV series. In the CW universe, Shipp has portrayed both Henry Allen (Barry Allen’s father) and Jay Garrick (the Golden Age Flash).
No big deal. Just working with @JohnWesleyShipp for the first time. Nice of him to dress up for the occasion. pic.twitter.com/twRkwIhilv

To top it all off, it appears that Tyler Hoechlin will play a version of Superman who will be one of the main antagonists in the crossover event.
