Many gamers are fond of any game that puts them in a god-like position. In Ary and the Secret of Seasons, players take control of Aryelle. Often referred to as Ary, the young girl lives in a world called Valdi. The world she lives in was once threatened by a dangerous and powerful mage. Before the mage could wreak terrible havoc on the world, they were locked in a vault.
Developed by eXiin and Fishing Cactus and published by Modus Games, Ary is destined to become the next Guardian of Winter. It had been previously stated that her brother was to become their father’s successor. Due to a few unforeseen circumstances, her brother becomes unable to fulfill his duty.
The young girl becomes part of the group that meets to reinforce the magic seal on the mage’s prison. Despite the Guardians continuously conducting the ritual for centuries, the legend of the dangerous mage has been lost to time. It is fortuitous timing that the legendary group has added a fresh new member, as the world of Valdi begins to fall into disarray.
Ary and Wielding the Seasons
Wielding the power of the Seasons, Ary will bend the environment to her will. Where one path ends, another may be revealed by summoning a certain season’s power. Using ‘seasonal domes,’ the young Guardian will transform the world to suit her needs. So long as one maintains a keen eye, the path to one’s objective will remain clear. Ary will have to fight hard to bring peace back to the world of Valdi.
Ary and the Secret of Seasons will be available on July 28, 2020, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4,
