Ashton Kutcher Mourns Loss of Former Co-Star

Ashton Kutcher has been keeping a relatively low profile lately with his wife, Mila Kunis. However, the actor took to social media to pay his respects to his late, former co-star Martin Mull, who passed away on Thursday, June 27, at 80.

According to People Magazine, Martin Mull’s daughter, Maggie Mull, shared the sad news on Friday on Instagram. She wrote that her late father had died on June 27 after a ‘valiant fight against a long illness.’

Maggie fondly recalls, “He was known for excelling at every creative discipline imaginable and also for doing Red Roof Inn commercials,” she continued. “He would find that joke funny. He was never not funny.”

Following her post, Ashton Kutcher shared his condolences and a photo of Martin Mull and Kutcher during a scene from the hit Netflix series The Ranch. Martin appeared in 13 episodes from 2016 to 2020 as the Bennett family lawyer and friend, bringing many laughs to his cast members and viewers.

Kutcher, who played the wild and eager Colt Bennett, shared a photo of himself and Martin Mull sitting in deep conversation at his TV mom, Maggie Bennett, played by Debra Winger’s bar.

Despite being very busy with her new role, she and Ashton Kutcher are reportedly having a great time with their kids, taking in the sights in London. The Kutchers and their two children also recently attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert.

Their positive interactions with fans are a reassuring sign for their relationship.
