For those of you playing Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, there is something other than Christmas to look forward to in December. Ten days before the main event of the month, PS4 and Xbox One owners can be taking on Jack the Ripper through the mean streets of ye olde London.
Given the time period of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, it was inevitable that Jack the Ripper would show up sooner or later. In many respects, Jack the Ripper is the Superman on 19th century London-based fiction; sooner or later, every character worth their salt ends up fighting him.

Set twenty years after the events of Syndicate’s main story, players take control of Evie (no word on if Jacob is still around). With London in the grip of increasing hysteria as Jack’s rampage continues, Evie finds herself in a race against time to bring him down before he tears the city, and the Brotherhood, apart.
Console players will have this new DLC from the 15th, with PC users getting it a week later on the 22nd. Season Pass owners will also get an exclusive story mission ‘The last Maharaja’, which will be released at a later date.
Gamers have had the chance to match wits with Jack the Ripper as Sherlock Holmes and now they can match blades as an Assassin.
