Halloween is looming, and it’s the one time of year people can get freakishly creative with their decor. After all, who doesn’t love to see a yard fully outfitted in spooky ghosts, ghouls, and jack o’ lanterns? While each yard may look different, one Atlanta resident took Halloween’s scary themes to a whole new level. Rather than hanging glow-in-the-dark skeletons, she opted for something a little more… realistic.
TikTok user tiffany_angulo (TA customs) posted a video of her fully outfitted Halloween yard. The title was captioned, “My most terrifying Halloween decorations yet.” As the video pans across the yard, eerie music plays in the background. The center of the creepy diorama features a 12-foot skeleton wearing a Putin shirt that reads, “Who’s your daddy?”
In front of the skeletal Putin stand two skeletons attached to his puppet strings: an orange-faced Donald Trump with a “wanna be dictator” hat, and Mike Pence, wearing “all I do is vacation” on his hat. Trump’s shirt reads “I was chosen” with a missing file icon, while Pence’s reads “I did not have sectional relations with that couch.” Around them are kneeling skeletons, all wearing MAGA hats with their names except one, who wears an “I.C.E. Barbie” t-shirt.
The dirama paints a distinct, unmistakable picture of life in America today. While the skeletal worshippers don accessories such as empty alcohol bottles and giant crosses, a graveyard surrounds them. “Humanity,” one reads, while others say, “R.I.P. women’s rights,” “Democracy dies in silence,” and “R.I.P. diversity, equality, inclusion.”
To one side of skeletal RFK Jr., Leavitt, Hosgeth, and Noem stands another tall skeleton dressed as the Statue of Liberty. She’s depicted in chains, being led away by ICE police skeletons. To the other side are skeletons dressed as women in “The Handmaid’s Tale.” They stand in chilling stillness next to a gravestone reading, “R.I.P. Women’s bodily autonomy.”\
The cherry on top of the bold lawn display is the skeleton on the roof. It looks down on the scene, holding a sign that reads: “We the People, No Kings in America.” The Halloween decorations have garnered tons of praise and support from viewers. “This is SO good. Amazing, no notes!” One TikTok follower comments. “Now that’s a real-life horror story. Sad to think we’re actually living it. I do love that you were brave enough to do this,” another writes. One user echoed the scene’s vibe, saying, “Nothing scarier than reality in the U.S.”
