One of the fundamental practices of becoming an Assassin is to leap off of a great height and have faith that you’ll still be alive once you stick the landing. This is how they do it in the Assassin’s Creed games, and that’s the path that this Australian free runner has followed to becoming a real-life believer by taking the leap of faith. And maybe synchronize his map, who knows.
Dominic Di Tommaso Takes Assassin’s Creed’s Leap of Faith To Real Life Measures
Dominic Di Tommaso, the Australian pro parkour athlete of the Red Bull Art of Motion has set foot on the replica of the Feudal Japan in the Ninja Kingdom Ise theme park to do one of the greatest stunts of the Assassin’s Creed games: the leap of faith. The act is executed perfectly, and the height measures 14.5 meters from the top of the lifter down to the haystacks.
However, some think that there are more safety items under the pile. One of the comments absolutely makes sense with what we see in the video stating that “there must be something else in that pile for him to bounce out like that.” Others say “100% there’s a reason there’s a second pile of hay in front of the one he’s actually landing in,” which seems true.
Another point that’s emphasized in the comments is the fact that why do we never see something “cool ever happen without Red Bull being involved??” From a man jumping down to Earth from outer space to a real-life Assassin’s Creed leap of faith, Red Bull has been sponsoring a ton of these as part of their marketing plan throughout the years.
Not to forget about the “Falcon Screech”, though, as it’s also an integral part of the AC franchise. The sound is not in the video on Reddit, but it’s featured in the full video uploaded on Red Bull Gaming channel on YouTube. The video focuses on a team of parkour masters doing the Assassin’s Creed Shadows‘ stunts, and well, it only proves the excellence of Naoe’s parkour in the game.
