Bachelor Nation‘s Sarah Herron is glowing and expecting! The reality star is pregnant after going through an IVF treatment. Sarah and her fiance Dylan Brown are expecting their first child together, and the former Bachelor contestant is “unbelievably grateful.”
Sarah Herron Is Expecting Her First Child With Fiancé
The 35-year-old former Bachelor contestant, Sarah Herron, who is seven weeks pregnant, confirmed that she and Brown are expecting a baby boy in May 2023. Sarah spoke about her pregnancy journey, and how she conceived through IVF after trying naturally for seven months.
“We have been trying to get pregnant for exactly two years. We started trying to conceive naturally in 2020, but after seven months of no luck, we turned to fertility testing which confirmed that I had Diminished Ovarian Reserve,” she explained. “As soon as we learned my diagnosis, we immediately turned to IVF with Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh.”
Per Us Weekly, Sarah also revealed that the experience created a closer bond between herself and her fiancé. The former reality TV star praised her fiancé for being supportive and “an incredible rock” but “so tender at heart.”
Herron and Brown previously got engaged after four years of dating. The couple announced their engagement via an Instagram post in May 2021.
Sarah And Brown Are Not Getting Married Soon
Amid news of her being pregnant, Bachelor‘s Sarah Herron hinted that she and Brown were not in a hurry to walk down the aisle. “Wedding plans are currently on hold. We feel that we have enough on our plates right now and will resume planning once the baby is here,” she revealed. The TV star continued:
“The idea of our little baby getting to attend our wedding with mom and dad someday feels really beautiful to me, so we’ll wait until that day is right.”
The Colorado native noted that although the expectant parents are “excited and hopeful” for the journey ahead, they “also realize that we are still in the first trimester and have a long road ahead of us.”
The former reality TV star, who has previously struggled with body image, said that although the coming months of pregnancy might be difficult, she is prepared for “the changing perspectives and appreciation I will have for my body.”
