Recently, The Bachelorette’s Jenn Tran got an Instagram follow from Cleveland Cavaliers’ starting forward, Max Strus, after shooting her shot with him. Strus was traded to the Cavaliers on a sign-and-trade deal from the Miami Heat over the NBA’s last offseason. However, while Stus did not play badly, he was not the same player he was in Miami. With the two possibly in contact over Instagram, are the Cavs looking at another Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson incident?
According to Life and Style Magazine, Jenn Tran said, “Max Strus, if you’re out there and you’re single, I’m here. I’m ready. I really like basketball.” Shortly after that, Max followed Tran on Instagram. A very similar thing happened a few years back when Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian got together. Thompson was on the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers. However, Thompson’s on the court play greatly deteriorated during the relationship.
Cleveland Cavaliers Fans React to a Possible Max Strus and Jenn Tran Relationship
It seems that Cleveland Cavaliers fans took to the comment section to talk about this potential off-court distraction.
“Cleveland already had one reality TV star in Khloe Kardashian around when she was dating Tristan Thompson. We all know how that ended up,” said one fan.
“Max and The Cavs need to focus on winning, not reality TV,” wrote another.
Cavs fans may not want Jenn around to distract one of their best three-point shooters.
The Cavaliers are on the hunt for a deep playoff run next season, and having these kinds of distractions would be a nightmare for the team. In order for this team to succeed, Max needs to lock in and throw everything he has at basketball. Tran may not fit into that equation.
Max Strus could help this Cleveland Cavaliers team to a possible NBA Finals appearance. Things didn’t work out when Khloe Kardashian was in The Land, and they most likely won’t work out with Jenn Tran there, either.
