Bachelorette stars Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia went candid about their lives as they navigate the rough road to finding love. The duo touched on everything, from their numerous ups and downs since the July premiere of the show to their sojourns in the dating pool with their respective suitors.
Gabby and Recchia, who star in the 19th episode of the reality show, have experienced various moments comprising the good, the bad, and the ugly. One of their worst played out at the previous rose ceremony, where Rachel had three roses rejected. Speaking to Us Weekly barely a week later, the duo found the strength to open up and address the highs and lows of their respective journeys.
Windey and Recchia Speak Up
While appearing on an episode of Us’ “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast alongside Gabby Windey, Rachel reflected on the inconsistencies she and her co-star experienced since the season’s premiere. She shared:
“We experience you know, really low lows and really high highs. And I think Gabby and I are just more excited for people to start seeing those really high moments because, of course, we are still navigating this at the beginning.”
Going further, the 26-year-old touched on her terrible experience at the previous rose ceremony and how hard it was to deal with the three rejections. According to her, what mattered was knowing that hard times, although inevitable, always worked for good.
Gabby also weighed in on the possibilities of more difficulties ahead, saying experiencing hardship in love was normal, as love was a rough ride. She quipped:
“And how it goes to fall in love is, sometimes, you have some heartbreak. It’s not as deep, I feel like, as everyone is making it out to be. We have low moments, but we also have high ones and we’re entitled to the way that we feel.”
What’s in Store for Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia Relationship-Wise
During their interview with Us, the two co-leads also dissected the progress of their love lives and relationships. Addressing her budding romance with Tino Franco, Rachel admitted the general contractor caught her attention from the onset, and they connected on many levels. She also gave an update on their one-on-one Paris date, saying it availed her the opportunity to know him more.
As for Gabby, she believes her Paris encounter with Jason was influenced by the ambiance of the romantic city. This, in turn, led to her saying she was in love with the Bachelorette contestant during their date.
Meanwhile, a love triangle seems to be brewing between the two Bachelorette co-leads, as Logan admitted to nursing feelings for Gabby Windey despite accepting Rachel Recchia’s rose. As both women try to figure out the way forward, viewers can only wait in anticipation until the final verdict comes to light in upcoming episodes.
