Jess Shares Her Struggles
Before this time, Jess had no idea about what anxiety was. She also did not realize it was the feeling she was having on the show.
Jess did not hold back as she shared her struggles following her split from Zach.
“Anxiety is something that’s pretty new to me. I, to be truthful, just started realizing that anxiety was what I was feeling coming onto the show,” Jess shared in an exclusive interview with ET.
She noted that while it may be new to her, she struggled greatly with anxiety.
Jess’s uncomfortable chat with Zach was a result of her anxious sentiments. Jess voiced her regret for not getting a one-on-one date throughout their time.
The tech executive was puzzled as to why they could not engage in an in-depth conversation when they did have the opportunity to do so. The two ultimately decided to part ways. Even though it was obvious that Jess and Zach were having difficulty communicating, Jess did not think that split was avoidable.
Jess Shares How She Manages Anxiety
The Bachelor star Jess Girod shared how she is gradually managing her anxiety. Jess shared that she has support and encouraged those who may have the same struggles to do the same.
She also mentioned that journaling and walking helped her control it. In addition, Jess said that anxiety is not something people should go through alone.
“It’s always good to try to figure out what the root cause is and be able to find someone that’s comfortable and safe to confide in about it,” she added.
Jess’s struggles with anxiety and her split from Zach may have been hard for her, but she appears to be better. Hopefully, her message about anxiety will strengthen someone.
