Baldur’s Gate 3 massive story will take you to all sorts of different places. These places often contain some weird creatures and people that need help. While you will explore the city streets of Baldur’s Gate in Act 3, you will also find yourself deeply in the sewers. Sarin is a skeleton that is missing her head, but there isn’t much explanation of what you need to do. Finding out the mystery of Sarin’s head and the puzzle it unlocks will get you some great rewards.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Sarin’s Skeleton Puzzle Solution

The solution for Sarin’s Skeleton puzzle is the missing head. You will need to locate it somewhere in the Undercity Ruins. Once you obtain it, everything else will be an easy task.
Sarin’s Coffin Location
Exploring the sewers of the city, you are bound to stumble upon Aelis Siryasius, a paranoid wizard, and a group of his cultist friends who have executed Sarin. Southwest of him, you will find Sarin’s coffin. Upon examining it, you will notice that Sarin’s corpse is missing its skull. This will trigger a quest that will task you to find the missing head.

Head northwest deeper down the sewers. Journey to the waypoint ‘Undercity Ruins’. Once you find the portal, you will notice the mute vendor on the stairs, next to the Temple of Bhaal entrance, at coordinates X:-156 Y:945.
The Sarin’s Skeleton head is located in the pouch behind the vendor, known as Voiceless Penitent Bareki. In fact, he is one of Aelis Siryasius’ helpers. You will need to bypass him and avoid the unnecessary fight. To do so, go behind him with one of your party members and leave the others with the vendor. If, for some reason, you choose to fight, this enemy is very weak and won’t present a problem at all. But why waste resources and time? Stealth mode is a go-to option here.
How to Complete Sarin’s Skeleton Puzzle
Once you get the Skull from the pouch, a headless ghost will spawn, leading you back to the coffin.
When you get back to Sarin’s Skeleton, open the inventory and click on the coffin. Now, insert the Skull in the slot on the skeleton. Combine the items to complete the Sarin’s Skeleton puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Once you complete the puzzle, you will receive a rare Magic Amulet and 250 XP for each party member. The amulet is a pretty solid piece of equipment as it comes with an Innate Fortitude effect. This will allow you to once per Long Rest use a reaction to make an Attack Roll or Saving Throw with Advantage.
Nevertheless, you won’t go without a fight. The area is crawling with enemies and they won’t hesitate to attack you. There will be so many of them that it will be best to use AoE attacks you have to end them quickly.

- Choose stealth mode instead of a fight to get behind him and open the pouch that holds Sarin’s skull.
