If you have been waiting for the next entry of the Baldur’s Gate saga, you won’t have to wait that long. As announced before, Larian Studios is fulfilling its promise of delivering its next big game this year. During today’s State of Play, we got to see that Baldur’s Gate 3 will release on August 31st, 2023. Besides that, there is an amazing actor that is joining the cast of this game. The one and only J.K. Simmons will be part of Baldur’s Gate 3 when it launches, and he’ll play an important role in the game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 will feature J.K. Simmons as General Ketheric Thorm
It is always nice to get some renowned actors to play parts in video games. Supermassive Games has done this with most of its titles, as we’ve seen in the likes of Until Dawn and The Quarry. Now, Larian Studios just recruited J.K. Simmons for the release of Baldur’s Gate 3. The studio claims General Ketheric Thorm is a man with ambitions, and the best choice to portray the character’s voice would be J.K. Simmons. Also, you should keep an eye out as the developers are planning to show two more antagonists in the coming months.

The Collector’s Edition remains the same as the one that had been announced before. It seems that Larian Studios is going pretty hard on the game, and it’s doing a great game at hyping it up.
