The BAM Box is a monthly mystery subscription box full of hard to find collectibles, limited edition items, exclusives, and autographs! Each box contains at least one autographed item! Other items could include an extra autograph or 1-Up cards with upgraded items.

Cost:

1 Month Plan:  $29.99 per month + $7.99 s/h
6 Month Plan:  $28.99 per month + $7.99 s/h
12 Month Plan:  $27.99 per month + $7.99 s/h

Theme: Watching

September’s theme was “strange” and this box, the October box, has a “watching” theme.  By watching, I think they are possibly referring to movies as many movies are represented with the contents of the box.

This item gave me mixed feelings.  I’m not much into demons but it’s like a Rubix cube and who doesn’t love to try and figure one of those out?  It is an exclusive Bam! item and definitely a conversation piece, especially if you like the movie Hellraiser.

BAM Box

In remembering this was the October box, I can see how this exclusive item makes a lot of sense if you want to dress up like an S-Mart employee.  I wasn’t sure what movie this referenced as I haven’t seen the movie, this trailer made me think it actually might be one of those movies you don’t see on purpose but run across every so often and it ends up being your favorite.  Check out this clip:

So, KISS is back in the form of a comic book.  This is the very first issue of KISS (Volume 1) with a variant cover for BAM!.  It’s autographed by John Lucas, the cover artist.  Some The BAM Box subscribers ended up with a copy that was signed by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley!  Pretty cool!

BAM Box

This is a Jason and Freddy print which is signed by the artist, John Branham.  Takes me back to the days when it was fun to watch these movies.

This print, however, just made me want to throw up! I can see how some might find this to be an amazing thing to look at if you’re into The Exorcist but I am thinking they could have picked a different scene.  Then again, maybe this is the reaction they were looking for!

Chucky is the theme of the BAM! pin for the October Box.  Of course, this is from another of those “scary” movies, Child’s Play and all the additional movies in that series.  I guess I am just still trying to figure out how a doll could do so much damage!  Was he really that strong?  I hope to never find out!

Summary:  This box brought back memories of some of the scary movies I watched growing up.  I didn’t watch them because they were amazing story lines.  I watched them to prove to all my friends that I wasn’t scared!  I can hardly watch a scary movie anymore and I’m not afraid to admit it!

Hurry over to their website to grab the January box!  You have approximately 14 days!

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
