Happy Batman Day! On Tuesday, September 20th, we will see the release of the next episode of Batman: The Telltale Series. It is entitled Children of Arkham, and it looks like the series will start to veer a little more into what Batman fans are looking for. With a new episode, Telltale has a new trailer for us. If you don’t want to know anything about episode two, turn back now. Check out the trailer below:

I did not realize we would get Oswald Cobblepot’s transformation so quickly after meeting him, but I like the weird gas mask look that he has going. Judging from the trailer, we can pretty easily predict where our two different protagonists are headed in Children of Arkham.

Bruce Wayne is obviously going to be searching for answers after the revelation that his parents are not necessarily the squeaky clean good samaritans he thought they were. As for Batman, he looks to be focused on the “revolution” that Cobblepot mentioned in episode one. With Penguin joining the party, along with Catwoman dating the man who will become Two-Face, it seems like only a matter of time before even more of the rogue’s gallery visit the Dark Knight. Are they going to stick with the classics (a Telltale version of Riddler would make for some fun dialogue), or will they bring in a newer big bad like Mr. Bloom?

Penguin still cleans up pretty good when he wants to in Batman: A Telltale Series.

The first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series, Realm of Shadows, was a solid first entry. It did a good job of introducing several characters and the new mechanics that players have at their disposal. You can read our review of episode one here. Children of Arkham releases on Tuesday for basically every system available. Be sure to check back in the next few days for our review.

Excited for Children of Arkham? What villains do you want to see join the game? What do you think of Cobblepot’s new look? Let us know in the comments below, and happy Batman Day!
