Tonight during Bethesda’s E3 conference, an open beta signup was announced for the publisher’s upcoming online multiplayer brawler, Battlecry. Players can sign up, starting today, at http//www.battlecrythegame.com. Doing so will grant players an in-game bonus item that’ll carry over to the final game. Regarding signups, interested gamers must act quickly. Players must sign up before June 18 in order to participate in the beta.
As of now, a release date for the actual game remains unannounced. However, this beta should provide a good taste of what to expect for gamers for the eventual full release.

While Battlecry might be a smaller announcement in the grand scheme of Bethesda’s conference, there’s plenty of potential here. An open beta will be a great chance for Bethesda to get gamer’s opinions on their new game. And with Doom just recently unveiled, Battlecry is sure to have its work cut out for it in the competitive landscape, even just for Bethesda-published games.
