The 2.0.1 update has arrived for Battlefield 2042, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This version does not bring major changes or improvements like the ones released before. But it will still increase the gaming experience. For example, the developer company DICE says they are correcting the visual effects (VFX) of Paik’s EMG-X Scanner, for which they Hotfixed the range and duration on September 1. So, here’s everything with the new Battlefield 2042 2.0.1 update.

Changelog

  • The Avancys and AM40 no longer display visible weapon shake when firing after switching from a secondary weapon.
  • Resolved instances where red containers could glitch inside the ship on Stranded
  • Resolved an issue where the “Interact” button would sometimes trigger repeatedly. This could, for example, cause you to enter a vehicle again directly after exiting.

Battlefield 2042 Update: Paik

  • The EMG-X Scanner VFX now matches the maximum range of this ability (25m)
  • The Location Revealed notification for the spotted target now remains on screen for 0.3s

Besides that, the next game update includes the Renewal rework, the Polaris RZR, and new Vault Weapons. There is no exact date, but it is expected to be released in late September or early October.

  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 100 GB available space
