The 5.3.1 update will be released for Battlefield 2042, and here are the recent changes, included in the patch notes. Unlike Patch 5.3.0, the upcoming version won’t bring major features and changes; Instead, it will focus on bothersome issues harming the gameplay. These include resolving an issue that resulted in the Specialist model disappearing if switched from the Battle Pass tab to the Classes tab. All folks should take a look at the changes that the upcoming update will bring before continuing to play. Let’s examine the Battlefield 2042 5.3.1 update patch notes.

Before announcing the upcoming version, a community manager of the game stated, ”Next week we will be releasing Update 5.3.1; this small update will require no downtime, though you may need to restart your game in order to benefit from these changes.”

Changelog:

  • Resolved an issue that resulted in the Specialist model disappearing if switched from the Battle Pass tab to the Classes tab.
  • Resolved an issue that resulted in players spawning out of bounds on Shutdown on Stranded.
  • Resolved an issue that restricted SOFLAM successfully counting towards Weekly Missions that required enemies to be spotted with Recon Gadgets.
  • Increased Helicopter TOW Replenishment Rate from 15 to 22 seconds.

These are all the changes that the upcoming 5.3.1 update will bring. Just because it’s a minor patch doesn’t mean it’s a useless version. It includes valuable fixes, such as solving an issue that resulted in players spawning out of bounds on Shutdown on Stranded.

If you’re interested in diving into the squared circle for yourself, Battlefield 2042 is available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Finally, if you are looking for more patch notes about the game, you can check out the 5.2.1 patch, which was released a while ago.
