Jennifer Lopez has made her first public outing with Ben Affleck following filing for divorce from the actor last month. Just this weekend, the 55-year-old was photographed looking somewhat tense with her 52-year-old estranged spouse, with the photos showing the former couple at The Beverly Hills Hotel in L.A.
Showing off her figure in tight jeans as she kept stylish for her outing, Jennifer had fans commenting on Ben’s body language, with the majority of the comments on the Deux Moi-shared images suggesting that he was in some way “angry.” Lopez, who was engaged to Affleck in the early 2000s, rekindled her romance with the Batman star in 2021. The two married in 2022, but their marriage didn’t even hit the two-year mark.

Keeping his distance as he stood next to JLo in one snap, Ben kept casual in jeans and a shirt, also wearing shades.
Sticking to her usual level of glam, Jennifer highlighted her curvy figure in tight, dark blue jeans, adding a long-sleeved, dark crop top with a sweater finish, plus a pair of black stiletto heels. Slinging a purse over one shoulder as she wore her hair down and highlighted, the JLo Beauty founder donned tinted shades and ring jewelry, but fans weren’t discussing her outfit.
In another image, Ben was seen walking alongside his ex, leaning in and looking a little aggressive. Further photos showed the two in a vehicle, where nobody was smiling.
Agreeing, but going sarcastic, another said: “He seems like a joy to be around.” A third asked “why” Ben is “always so…,” adding an angry-faced emoji. Noting the tension in the second slide, a further user jumped in to say:
“The second picture… verbal abuse at its most scary. If he acts like that in public what is he like in private? But yeah why the Beverly Hills Hotel??”
The outing had included Jennifer’s twins Max and Emme, plus two of Ben’s three children. While Lopez shares her kids with ex-husband Marc Anthony, Affleck shares his children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
“He always looks like he’s yelling at her” was yet another remark.
Jennifer and Ben are still trying to sell the $68 million mansion they once shared. Shortly before the divorce news broke, Affleck snapped up a $20.5 million bachelor pad. JLo, meanwhile, has been spotted touring properties in the Beverly Hills area.
