Ben and Jen are going through a serious rough patch in their marriage. Sources close to the couple reveal that the celebrity spouses are living in separate homes, and divorce seems unavoidable.
Despite the couple’s second anniversary approaching, things have been going downhill rapidly. Sources close to the pair say they have reached the point of no return. Insiders recently spoke with InTouch, saying, “The split is getting nasty. She isn’t wasting any time moving on from Ben.”
Sadly, sources close to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck say no reconciliation is in sight for the estranged spouses at this time. Because of this, Jen has a PR crisis team and a top divorce lawyer in her corner in case the worst-case scenario unfolds.
“It’s expected Laura Wasser will be handling this divorce,” a second source reveals. “Laura was the divorce lawyer who mediated Ben’s divorce with Jennifer Garner, and she represented J. Lo in her divorce with Marc Anthony. So there’s history on both sides.”
The Bennifer sources say they hope to see the couple work things out and eventually get back together. However, for now, it seems they are grasping at straws and, unfortunately, foresee divorce proceedings getting underway soon.
