As one of the top contenders of the “Least Recoil” festival in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, AMES 85 excels in accuracy. Building the best loadout with the AMES 85 isn’t a hard task in Black Ops 6, as you can choose to rely on its precision and install Rapid Fire and CHF Barrel on it, or, further increase its accuracy and make it a laser beam.
Best AMES 85 Loadout in Black Ops 6

What AMES 85 lacks in raw power and mobility, it makes up with super precision and high fire rate. This is the weapon you’re going to need in Warzone for the long-range battles, laser beaming the opponents away. For that type of ultra accuracy, however, we do need the Vertical Foregrip underbarrel. And That’s it; no extras are needed for good aiming with this gun.
As for our no-mini-map-pings policy, we use the suppressor muzzle for the best AMES 85 loadout in Black Ops 6. Light Stock is here for a bit of extra mobility, and Long Barrel is our damage range increase forerunner. The iron sight isn’t the soundest here, is it? An optic attachment will do.
This loadout is best for long and mid-range combat, allowing you to precisely drive your shots with the least gunkick to worry about. Just look at the image above; that’s all the recoil you’re going to deal with! Bonus: this AMES 85 loadout comes with 2 extra hidden attachments if you use the Plague Doctor blueprint.
You see, we don’t have the Extended Mag I nor the grenade launcher attachments on this loadout. But if you own the $100 version of the game and have the AMES 85 Plague Doctor, it’ll come with both of these attachments even when you don’t pick them. Is it a bug? No idea.

Are you confident in your aim soldier? This loadout is best for my comrades, the sweat lords of the Black Ops 6 MP lobbies demanding the full potential of the AMES 85 assault rifle. Two key attachments we’ve here that ruin the beautiful accuracy of this AR at the cost of more power: Rapid Fire, and CHF Barrel.
With Rapid Fire, you’ll be increasing your weapon’s fire rate by 11% which is too much for a gun like AMES 85. It’s overpowered for sure, but you make it even deadlier with the CHF Barrel, increasing the headshot damage from 26 to 29. Combined with the body damage, this means if you only land one of your spray shots to the enemy’s head, they’re done.
In the recoil management department, we’ve got another pair of attachments to clean the mess: the Vertical Foregrip underbarrel for the horizontal recoil, and the Compensator muzzle that prioritizes the vertical recoil. The result is a balanced version of AMES 85 in terms of accuracy, with super-powered damage and fire rate which makes one of the best loadouts among all guns in Black Ops 6. Make sure you test this bad boy in Zombies too.
