Zeta is the closest thing we have to a Dragoon in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and with the right build, she can become one of the best DPS characters in the game. She wields the fire element and her iconic spear to do damage and stay out of harm’s way as much as possible. However, what makes her stand out is that her skills focus on weak point damage. This might not sound important, but this ability lets her break enemy parts that are pretty useful when farming for materials to get some of the game’s most powerful weapons.
How To Build Zeta in Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Contrary to other characters, Zeta focuses on critical hits and weak point damage. Any Lance main from Monster Hunter: World will feel right at home with her. Also, while she has a few support skills and some great defensive ones, it is better to build her as a glass cannon of sorts and let her jump around the battlefield to take down enemies. Yet, before you do that, you need the right weapon and skills to make it work.
Weapon: Brionac
Despite being a weapon you’ll unlock early during the game, this is the best weapon for this Zeta DPS build in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. It gives her a flat Attack bonus, which only increases as you upgrade the weapon and leaves room for a Wrightstone to add other effects. We strongly recommend using one that provides more critical hit damage to improve Zeta’s damage potential.
Skills and Sigils
Since we are focusing on a full DPS build for Zeta, we’ll leave all support and defensive skills on the side. This doesn’t matter much for solo play, as you can bring your own tanks and healers, but pray you get a few of them when matchmaking. In any case, before we check her rotation, let’s look at the recommended skills:
- Infinite Wonders
- Spear of Arvess
- Signo Drive
- Wingclipper
Zeta’s rotation isn’t difficult to master, but what is challenging is her mechanics. There are two core passive skills that make Zeta shine, and those are her ability to chain jump attacks and Arvess Fermare. The latter inflicts an enemy with a debuff that makes them take more damage from Zeta’s attacks. With that in mind, you should always open with Sigo Drive, followed by Infinite Wonderd. This last skill inflicts an enemy with the debuff, and with a short cooldown, you can spam it. After that, trigger Spear of Arvess to start your airborne combo. Finally, save Wingclipper for whenever you want to crowd-control an enemy.
Since we’re focusing on increasing Zeta’s damage potential, here are the sigils we recommend for her:
- Attack Power
- Combo Booster
- Critical Damage
- Critical Hit Rate
- Damage Cap
- Break Assassin
- Exploiter
- Tyranny
There are two crucial sigils for Zeta’s build in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Explotier and Tyranny. These two are useful and make her a true glass cannon that can break enemy parts and land some devastating critical hits. However, you should bring a healer or tank to keep her out of harm’s way.
Overall, Zeta is one of the most engaging characters to play in the game, but it requires a bit of effort to learn her rotation. But once you do, you’ll burn enemies left and right with this huntress.
