The Cacahuatl is a widespread ingredient in Natlan, which, unlike some of the Local Specialties, grows in many areas of this Genshin Impact nation. So it will be very easy for you to find some of its locations and get a lot of this ingredient. However, the Cacahuatl is only helpful for cooking and is not meant to improve the Ascension Level of your characters. Of course, it is always better to have extra cooking ingredients and more dishes, especially if they help you during combat and exploration.
We found out that this is the best way to get the most Cacahuatl in the shortest time possible:
1. Use the Teleport Waypoint in Tequemecan Valley at the entrance of Natlan. Start climbing through the mountains to get to the top of “Children of Echoes,” almost where the Waypopint is. You will see a Cacahuatl in a central part with trees close to the deer.
2. Glide to the bottom of “Children of Echoes”; past the Reputation logo, you will see another Cacahuatl.
3. Use the Statue of the Seven in “Children of Echoes” and go up the mountain. There will be four Cacahuatl, two on each side of the tent, 2 next to the tree roots, and 2 hidden in the bushes.
4. Use the Statue of the Seven in “Children of Echoes.” Once you spawn, glide straight up and down to where the Sauroform Tribal Warriors are near the graffiti. Walk a little further, and you will see the Cacahuatl near two birds.
5. From the Statue of the Seven in “Children of Echoes,” glide to the front towards the Long-Necked Rhino. Near the trees they are eating, there is another Cacahuatl.
6. Continue north from there, near the “Children of Echoes” perimeter cliff. You will see a Cacahuatl near several bushes and Iron Ores.
7. Go West to the other Waypoint in Tequemecan Valley, North of Sulfurous Veins. In the area, you will find up to 6 Cacahuatl. Check well for the Tepetlisaurus’ playing spot.
8. Continue to the Secret Waypoint in Sulfurous Veins. To unlock it, use the central Waypoint of Sulfurous Veins and glide to the central part of the West. You will see a camp and giant bones. Follow the bones to the end and destroy the false rock wall for one more Cacahuatl for your inventory in Genshin Impact.
9. Use the Waypoint in Tequemecan Valley from the West and glide over the small mountain to the East, Huitztli Hill. On the left, you will see a rock altar next to 2 Cacahuatl.
10. Then, glide to the river above Huitztli Hill. You will see several Sauroform Tribal Warriors camps, where you will find up to 7 Cacahuatl.
11. Go to Basin of Unnumbered Flames using the Waypoint close to the lake; you will find 2 Cacahuatl along the way.
12. Continue walking to the next Basin of Unnumbered Flames Waypoint, the one north of the Stadium, for 2 more Cacahuatl.
13. Finally, go to the last Basin of Unnumbered Flames Waypoint, near the Statue of the Seven, for 3 more Cacahuatl.
14. Head to Toyac Springs Waypoint, over the mountain towards the Stadium. Near the Hilichurls, there are 9 Cacahuatl.
15. Following that road, on the side of the Stadium to the West, there are 6 Cacahuatl near a Sauroform Tribal Warriors camp.
16. Travel to Scions of the Canopy, but it is easier to use the Waypoint instead of The Statue of the Seven. Climb the mountain between the statue and the Waypoint for 6 Cacahuatl.
17. Use the Statue of the Seven in Ameyalco Waters and walk east. Cross the river and pass the Wayob Manifestation. Near the cliff, you will find 2 Cacahuatl.
18. Use the Ameyalco Waters Waypoint on the island to the south. In the middle of the island, there are another 2 Cacahuatl.
19. Use the Firethief’s Secret Isle Waypoint and walk southeast, near the Phlogiston’s altar, to find a Cacahuatl.
20. Use the Coatepec Mountain Waypoint near the Fatui camp. Go to the south camp for 2 Cacahuatl. Glide down to the camp from the same Waypoint with Yumkasaurs for 4 more Cacahuatl.
21. Travel to the Waypoint Northeast of the Ancestral Temple and climb over the Waypoint. There are 3 Cacahuatl on the mountain.
22. Glide down to the Ancient Watchtower Domain; there are 4 more Cacahuatl near the mountain.
23. Go east, almost to the Statue of the Seven and near the river. You will see 2 Cacahuatl around an Altar and a bonfire.
24. East of the Statue of the Seven, near the cliff, you will see a Tepetlisaurus spot and 3 Cacahuatl.
25. Head to the central Waypoint of Tequemecan Valley near the river. There, you will see a Yumkasaur. Glide down and take the 2 Cacahuatl.
26. Walk to the cliff behind Flamegranate Tree, where Tisoc’s mission is. There you will find another 2 Cacahuatl.
27. Continue East as if you were returning to “Children of Echoes.” Under the Long-Necked Rhino, there will be 3 Cacahuatl.
28. Use the Tequemecan Valley Waypoint, but the one south of “Children of Echoes.” On the mountain near the Sauroform Tribal Warriors camp, there will be 9 Cacahuatl.
29. From there, glide down to the East. You will see a wrecked carriage; inside it, there will be 4 Cacahuatl.
The Cacahuatl is only a cooking ingredient, so it is useless for enhancing the Ascension level of Genshin Impact characters. With this ingredient, you can cook dishes like Chocolate, Glittering Gemstones, Hot Spring O’Clock, and Saurus Crackers Saurus Crackers. If you need more Cacahuatl, you can buy it from Cintli, whose store is near the Adventurer’s Guild in Stadium of the Sacred Flame, Natlan. Cintli can sell you up to 15 Cacahuatl for 240 Mora. Also, you can plant Cacahuatl seeds in your Serenitea Pot.
