While the MW3 weapons meta is dominant in the 2023/2024 lifecycle of Warzone, the Call of Duty developers are still showing some love for the MW2 firearms. Hell, they even release conversion kits that throw some of these 2022 weapons to the top sometimes. Aside from that, there are secret buffs here and there for these guns, some of which get even better while using the new MW3 attachments on them. The STB 556 is one good example. But if the small 42-round magazine of it is bothering you, then you might want to check out this best HCR 56 loadout for Warzone and MW3 Multiplayer; and even MWZ, maybe?

The one huge problem with the HCR 56 in the past three years has been the unfair gunkick of it. Shooting this weapon feels like using a flyboard, kicking your aim and operator away instantly after the first shot. However this time, we’ve got MW3 attachments on our team to deal with it.
Quartermaster Suppressor muzzle plus Paracord Grip underbarrel is the solution. The famous recoil control duo work just fine for the best HCR 56 loadout. Now choosing a barrel among the options for the HCR 56 LMG is a little bit tricky since each attachment gives massive cons to deal with. And unlike most loadouts out there, we’re not going for the one with an integrated suppressor here.
The Ftac Hornet 20″ Barrel is one good attachment that aids in reducing recoil and gunkick, while we maintain that damage range and bullet velocity by filling the magazines with 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds. With 60 rounds being enough for an LMG/AR hybrid of a gun, our last attachment for the best HCR 56 loadout in Warzone and MW3 would be an optic.
As for the optic, the fan favourite JAK Glasless is probably the best that most players would go for. With 3 recoil management attachments on board, however, maybe it’s better to go for a 2.5x zoom, right? Give Holo-Craft Optic a shot.
Now while you’re using a heavy weapon to hold the lines, it’s crucial to have the High Alert perk in your loadout. Since you’re standing still or moving ever so slowly, the High Alert perk gives you an on-screen notification whenever you’re being aimed at from behind or rear sides. Fast Hands is also a lifesaver by allowing a much faster reload animation on your trucky LMG.
Now for your secondary, let’s go on the exact opposite of the HCR 56’s weight and bring in one of the recently buffed SMGs on the scene: the Superi-46. This gun is probably the fastest SMG in the game right now, and its heartbreaking nerf has been resolved by the kind developers.
You can duplicate this speed dominion by allowing the least fall damage with the Mountaineer perk, and refill your Thermites and Smoke Grenades by Resupply. This is an HCR 56 loadout that’s best used for the Resurgence maps like the night Vondel and spooky Rebirth Island.
