However, Hydroid’s abilities are where he really shows how impressive of a frame he can be.

  • Passive
    • Enemies damaged by Hydroid are more vulnerable to Corrosion Status with initial Status reducing Armor by 50%
  • Tempest Barrage
    • Summon a tempest to rain down upon a target area.
  • Tidal Surge
    • Crash through enemies in a ferocious wall of water.
  • Plunder
    • Plunder Armor from nearby enemies and increase Corrosive Damage on your Abilities and weapons. Enemies affected by Corrosive Status offer a greater increase.
  • Tentacle Swarm
    • Summon a creature from the depths. Its watery tentacles emerge from nearby surfaces to wreak havoc.

Hydroid’s Abilities are best used in a certain pattern, and in coordination with a Corrosive Damage. Since his passive abilities already makes enemies more vulnerable to Corrosive Damage, his Plunder ability is perfect. It increases your Corrosive Damage toward enemies with an even larger increase on enemies already afflicted by Corrosion.
