Best MP5A2 Loadout in XDefiant – Mobile and Hard-Hitting

An underrated SMG that can fly around the map

The current meta in XDefiant sees the MP7 submachine gun firmly at the top of its class, featuring superior damage, mobility, and range. However, there are additional SMGs, such as the MP5A2, that have an equally effective loadout in XDefiant.

While you won’t get the same performance from the MP5A2 as you would the MP7, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth using. The MP5A2 can be even more mobile than its SMG counterparts, allowing you to zoom across the map and kill enemy after enemy. In order to achieve that type of performance while keeping the MP5A2’s other stats high, though, you need to equip a specific set of attachments.

The overall goal for this MP5A2 loadout is to increase its mobility and damage range. Those are the two most important stats for an SMG in XDefiant, so we’ll make sure they’re kept high. Fortunately, the MP5A2 has decent recoil control and fire rate by default, so those stats can be left alone.

  • Muzzle: Barrel Extender
  • Front Rail: Small Vertical Grip
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Quick Draw Grip
  • Stock: Lightweight Stock

The loadout begins with the Barrel Extender Muzzle, which increases close and long-range damage by 10% each. The only downside to the muzzle is a decrease in sprint-to-fire time, but we can immediately make that back up by using the Quick Draw Rear Grip. Quick Draw boosts sprint-to-fire time by 10% and improves aim-down-sights speed by 10% as well.

Aim-down-sights speed is also increased with the Small Vertical Grip, which also has the added benefit of a 10% boost to aim-down-sights move speed. This means you can strafe faster, making mid to long-range gunfights easier to navigate.

Moving on, the Lightweight Stock is the next attachment, increasing sprint speed and aim down sights move speed even more. The final attachment on the loadout is the Quick Mag, adding five additional bullets to each mag and improving reload speed by 15%.

This is an exceptionally mobile and hard-hitting loadout for the MP5A2, but it still requires some skill to use in XDefiant.
