Good old plastic. Cheaper than metal, and better for mass production. You’ll use them too in Warframe as they come in the form of Polymer Bundle. It’s a resource you’ll often find when you have to craft some of the most common weapons in the game. If you’re just starting out (or even if you’ve been playing for some time), note you’ll need hundreds of thousands of Polymer Bundles. Worry not as here’s our Polymer Bundle farm guide to help.
Warframe Polymer Bundle Farm Location
You can mouse over the cursor to some of the planets in the Star Chart to see which ones can give you Polymer Bundle. But currently, there are three main planets that give them.
- Mercury
- Venus
- Uranus
Most enemies and containers in most mission nodes on those planets can drop or reward you with Polymer Bundles.
Also, Polymer Bundles frequently drop in amounts of 40 to 70 since a lot of craftable items require hundreds of them. You can’t sell them and they also can’t be traded with other players so there’s no other way around this resource. You have to farm them.
Fastest Way to Farm Polymer Bundle in Warframe
Since it’s an uncommon resource that drops from enemies and containers, we have several ways to farm Polymer Bundles in Warframe. All of them, however, can be enhanced by the presence of Resource Boosters so consider using those. Sometimes they’re given as login rewards.
Additionally, Steel Path can give more Polymer Bundle due to the higher loot drop and heavier volume of enemies. Consider the following methods in farming Polymer Bundle in Warframe.
E-Gate, Venus Nuke Farm
For this, you’ll want a Warframe that can “nuke” large areas of the map or break containers. Try these ones:
- Saryn (4th ability)
- Volt (4th ability)
- Limbo (4th ability)
- Xaku (4th ability)
You have to boost their Ability Range for this method to work. Try to aim for at least 200 percent Ability Range using mods like Stretch, Overextended, or Augur Reach. After that, just go to E-Gate, Venus, and start spamming the nuke ability (usually 4th).
Loot any resources that drop, and don’t forget the ones from containers.
Montes, Venus Archwing Spam
You have to have an Itzal Archwing for this. Head over to Montes, Venus. It’s an Archwing Exterminate mission. The Warframe doesn’t matter.
Once you get there, attract a few enemies and just keep pressing Itzal’s 3rd ability, Cosmic Crush. This is a mini-vortex or black hole ability that will suck in everything from enemies to loot in a 3D, 360-degree angle. It will also kill enemies.
Energy is also included in the loot it will suck, so you can sort of stay topped up in order to keep spamming Itzal’s 3rd ability.
Assur, Uranus Dark Sector Survival
A lot of players have success in this map when it comes to Polymer Bundle farming. So just bring your highest-DPS Warframe or preferably Nekros or Hydroid and kill everything.
Apparently, you can earn thousands of Polymer Bundles in 30 minutes since it’s a Survival mission with an added Resource Drop Chance. This map should provide all the plastic you need.
