RAM-7 is one of the new weapons added to Warzone and MW3‘s armory with the Season 1 update. For the old Call of Duty fans, however, we do remember that RAM-7 is in fact a MW 2019 weapon that’s now back in MW3. The gun plays the same as it did back in the day, hitting heavy damage with manageable recoil. The RAM-7 is best for both long-range builds, and the hit-and-run loadouts to be used as a light weapon in Warzone and MW3.
Best RAM-7 Loadout
- Barrel: Boreal-6C Suppressed Barrel
- Stock: HVS 3.4 Pad
- Magazine: 40-Round Magazine
- Ammunition: 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds
- Comb: FT Polycomb
Looking at the Ram–7 stats in Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone, this weapon has a very high fire rate. And with shooting rounds faster, there’s usually an unwanted recoil for you to handle. That’s what we’re dealing with now to build the ultimate best RAM-7 loadout for both Warzone and MW3.
For this matter, we can go for the muzzles to decrease both the horizontal and vertical recoil of this AR. But we’ve only got five options, and it’s best if we choose an attachment that functions as two; something like the Boreal-6C Suppressed Barrel. This barrel reduces recoil, adds bullet velocity, and masks your shots under the enemy’s radar with an integral suppressor.
Next, we’ve got the HVS 3.4 Pad stock attachment and the FT Polycomb, balancing the mobility and accuracy. The other crucial attachment for the best RAM-7 loadout is the magazine size, which you can pick the 60-round for Warzone, and 40-round for MW3 Multiplayer. However, you should keep the 60-round magazine’s mobility penalties in check. So if you’re a hit-and-run player and rush around the map, the 40-round could be the best option.
And for the final attachment, the 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds is the best option for almost every weapon in the game. This new ammo type is only available for the MW3 weapons, increasing their damage. This results in killing your opponents with one or two fewer bullets, quickening the TTK of RAM-7.
Perks and Gear
Secondary:
- Lockwood 680
Perks:
- Sleight of Hand
- Irradiated
- Cold Blooded
- Resolute
This is an assault class, in fact, allowing you to rush with full power in Warzone. The Lockwood 680 is the best option for close-quarter combat, allowing to one-shot targets if you’ve damaged them a bit before invading. You could also go for another shotgun like the Lockwood 300 as well, but the Lockwood 680 from MW3 has proven to be worthy of this pick with its damage range.
Next, we’ve got the perks, and the first one is the Sleight of Hand for faster reloading and weapon switch. The other perk from tier 1 options is Irradiated, best suited for gas plays in the final circles with this RAM-7 loadout in Warzone.
The Cold Blooded tier 2 perk allows for more undetected actions, letting you beat the enemy player’s High Alert notifications. And for the final perk, the Resolute perk is currently the meta, allowing it to run much faster when shot by an enemy. Bring a smoke grenade with you, and you’ll never die to surprise attacks with this perk.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
