Counters for Mewtwo in Pokemon Go

Ghosts and Dark Pokémon have the best resistance to psychic-type moves, so it’s best to have a Ghost or Dark-type to face Shadow Mewtwo to negate most of its attacks.
Gengar is one of the best Ghost types in the game and is the best to use against Mewtwo. Gengar has overall great stats in Go and can learn attacks like Shadow Ball, which will be very effective against Mewtwo.
