Best Sprayfeather Gill Farming Routes in Genshin Impact

The Sprayfeather Gill is a local specialty of Natlan; although it looks like a seagrass, it is a kind of coral that grows close to the water. This material is essential to improve the Ascension level of some characters from the Pyro nation, such as Mualani. Interestingly enough, the Sprayfeather Gill are connected to the People of the Springs, Mualani’s tribe, so it will be easy to find out where to farm Sprayfeather Gill in Genshin Impact for this girl.

Genshin Impact: Sprayfeather Gill Location in Ameyalco Waters

The Sprayfeather Gill grows near the body of water in Toyac Springs, but according to the description in Genshin Impact, you must go “near People of the Springs.” You don’t need to go after the locals; instead, follow these steps:

1. Use the Teleport Waypoint Toyac Springs in Ameyalco Waters. Go along the west shore to the white rock formation. Climb up a bit to find a Sprayfeather Gill on either side of the pond with several Koholasaurus and a chest.
2. Descend towards the lake, following the same rock formation. Near the Time Challenge, you will find another Sprayfeather Gill.
3. Continue along the shore of the lake to find 3 more Sprayfeather Gill.
4. Towards the south shore of the lake, there are 2 Sprayfeather Gill and a kind of island. On the southeast part of this island, there will be 3 more plants near the Phlogiston “altar.”
5. Follow the south shore of the lake towards The Statue of the Seven. By the rocks, there will be 2 Sprayfeather Gill near the Phlogiston altar. There will be another plant as you cross to the other side, along with other Koholasaurus and some decorations.
6. Continue along the shore of the lake towards a mini lagoon on the east side. It is south of the Amyealco Waters Waypoint, and you will find 7 plants. There will be another 2 Sprayfeather Gill next to the Phlogiston “altar.”
7. Continue along the shore to the small peninsula with the rock in the middle. Next to the bush and the Capybaras, there are two more Sprayfeather Gill.
8. Continue to the pier to find 3 more Sprayfeather Gill.
9. Walking north along the shore, you will see another rock formation on your right to the next Phlogiston “altar.” There will be 2 more plants there, but if you climb to the next lagoon, there will be another Phlogiston “altar” and 4 more Sprayfeather Gill.

10. Follow the shore until you almost reach the east side of The Teleport Waypoint Toyac Springs. There will be a rock “bridge,” and three plants will be on the right side of the waterfall.

Sprayfeather Gill Location in Ameyalco Waters Shouth

All the previous locations were in the main lake of Ameyalco Waters, but there are some islands to the south where more of these plants grow.

1. Go to the Statue of the Seven in Ameyalco Waters. It is right on top of some ruins. Go down the ruins to find 9 Sprayfeather Gill. To open all the passages, you will have to defeat enemies, and there is also a Wold quest.

2. To the south, on the mini island, there are 2 plants. Along the shore, there are 3 Sprayfeather Gill, and going west towards the Phlogiston “altar,” there are another 2 Sprayfeather Gill.

3. Follow the water path to a small entrance, you will see a Wayob Manifestation. Towards the end there are 4 Sprayfeather Gill.

4. From there, continue along the shore towards the settlement of People of Springs. On the first peninsula, there are 4 Sprayfeather Gill. Follow the shore until you find another Phlogiston “altar.” Near some rocks and plants, there are another 2 Gill.

5. Toward the last big island to the south, there is another mini island; on this one, there will be another two Sprayfeather Gill.  

You can walk through this farming route, but to collect Sprayfeather Gill quickly, you can use the Koholasaurus, one of the mounts introduced by Genshin Impact for Natlan.
