Duality allows you to balance the forces of yin and yang in Type Soul. As a Mythical Shikai/Bankai, Duality is one of the strongest powers in this Bleach spin-off, thanks to a moveset that’s as strong as it is varied. With two auras and multiple move variations between Shikai and Bankai, Duality offers Soul Reapers numerous ways to crush the competition. Though it’s not as flashy as some other powers, you can’t go wrong with Duality in PvP as you swap auras on the fly. Here’s how the Bleach Duality Shikai works (and the best strategies for it) in Roblox Type Soul.
Type Soul Duality Shikai Guide
The first thing you’ll notice about Duality is the two auras (white and black) that outline your character when using it (pictured above). Far from cosmetic, these auras reveal which of Duality’s two movesets you’re currently using. Unlike Kyoka Suigetsu, you’ll need to swap between the two to harness your full power. Here are Duality’s moves in Type Soul:
- C / Shift (Both Variations) – swap variations
- C / Shift (Bankai) – deal a large amount of AoE damage and stuns opponents
- X / Phase (Variation 1) – flash step, juggle, and stun your opponent on impact.
- X / Phase (Variation 2) – dash and slash
- X / Phase (Bankai) – kick your opponent into the air and then kick them back down
- Z / Duplex (Variation 1) – an AoE that lifts you skyward upon activation
- Z / Duplex (Variation 1) – kick the enemy back before impaling them with blades
- Z / Duplex (Bankai) – ascend into the air and strike your opponent multiple times
- T / Equinox – slash your opponent, suspend them in the air, and then drop them
- G / Ambivalence – strike your enemy with a gigantic whip of black flames
Duality Shikai is all about combo potential in Type Soul. Use a combination of Kendo (primary) and Speed (secondary) to make the most of this fast and hard-hitting Mythical Shikai. PvPers hate getting stuck in Duality combos even more than they hate Szayelaporro, and we don’t blame them.
Shikai Strategies
Although you can win by spamming, triumphing in Shikai usually requires careful timing not only of your attacks but also your Shifts. Focus on anticipating your opponent’s moves and shifting between auras to vary your moveset and take opponents by surprise. Duality’s Shikai can struggle to stand against the best Bleach Mythicals in Type Soul unless you’ve mastered your combos. Get to Bankai and take advantage of your C / Shift’s high AoE damage and stun to end the fight. Not even Kenpachi wants to mess with that.
