When you play any Soulslike, you will always have a choice to grab a massive weapon that makes you look like a child. If you choose Path of the Sweeper, the Strength build in Lies of P, then we have everything you need to know to make it the best version of this class. When you face out-of-control puppets and towering bosses, your best bet is to grab the biggest weapon to turn them into bits and pieces of robotic parts.

Path of the Sweeper focuses on Motivity (Strength), Vigor (Stamina), and Vitality (Health). You can put some of your points into Capacity to carry heavier weapons and other equipment. If you want to utilize the game’s version of an Intelligence build, you can accompany this build with points going into Advance. Regardless, your starting stats will be highest with the first three we mentioned. To get an idea of how you will start, below are the beginning stats:

Vitality11
Vigor5
Capacity11
Motivity11
Technique5
Advance6

What you should know about leveling up for a Strength build in Lies of P is the priority of your three main stats. In this order, you should focus on Motivity, Vitality, and Vigor. Your Vigor starts the lowest, but you will want to put the least amount into it compared to Motivity and Vitality as you will naturally expand your Stamina over time. You just need to be patient.

Your starting weapon will be the Greatsword of Fate. You will start with one of the best defensive Fable Arts, Absolute Defense, which, if timed right, guarantees a perfect block. One of the perks to the Strength build that makes it one of the best choices in Lies of P is its strong defense from heavy weapons. Even when you miss the timing, your block prevents more damage than the other two classes.

If you want a Strength build when you play Lies of P, you should note its strengths and weaknesses. Its pros are its high damage, strong guarding, and variety of weapon types. The cons are that it is on the slower side when attacking, has low starting Vigor, and is difficult to time attacks due to slow windups.

The weapon system of putting together any blade and handle for a unique combination gives you plenty of customization. If you struggle with parrying, which the game heavily leans into being a necessity, then you can keep your starter weapon. Although comfort is important, experimenting is a part of the core mechanics. We have some recommendations for you to try that would make for the best Strength build in Lies of P while also giving you options to find what works for you.

Greatsword of Fate Blade + Krat Police Baton Handle

Utilize strong slash and stab attacks by combining your standard blade for the Path of the Sweeper with the Krat Police Baton Handle, which you will obtain early on after taking down these hefty foes. Greatsword of Fate Blade’s Fable Art lets you stack slash attacks in quicker succession compared to most heavy attacks. Krat Police Baton Handle’s Fable Art will increase your damage on the next hit.

Holy Sword of the Ark

This is a special weapon that you obtain from exchanging the King’s Flame Ergo. It is a powerful and heavy Greatsword that requires high Capacity. The Fable Arts let you deliver an extra powerful attack and transform the blade to be longer, reducing stamina consumption.

Noblesse Oblige

Another special weapon we recommend for the best possible Strength build in Lies of P is from the Fallen One’s Ergo. If you want a heavy blunt weapon, this is one of the best ones in the game. The Fable Arts include consuming Ergo for a heavy attack and temporarily withstand attacks.

Acidic Crystal Spear Blade + Pipe Wrench Handle

The Wrench Handle gives you length to keep distance when attacking while having a strong block. The Spear Blade has strong Acid damage but be aware of Acid-resistant enemies. The Pipe Wrench Handle has a Fable Art to let you deliver a powerful forward slash, which is stronger after blocking. The Blade’s Fable Art significantly increases the Acid damage.

Booster Glaive Blade + Pipe Wrench Handle

Maintain the benefits of the Pipe Wrench Handle without restricting yourself to Acid damage. If you prefer Greatwords, the Booster Glaive Blade and Pipe Wrench Handle make the ultimate form of this type. The Blade’s Fable Art lets you get in multiple slash attacks.
