During the preseason of XDefiant, the only two available snipers are the M44 and the TAC-50. Both are extremely user-friendly, offering terrific stats and ease of use. However, each sniper brings something different to the table. The M44 offers superior mobility for quickscoping while the TAC-50 is a powerful sniper with a focus on damage range. If your sniping preference leans toward the latter in XDefiant, you need to know the best loadout for the TAC-50.
With the TAC-50 already possessing such strong damage, you can opt to give it more mobility to match up with the M44. This way, you can have a strong quickscoping sniper while keeping the TAC-50’s one-shot kill potential in place.
- Muzzle: Muzzle Booster
- Barrel: Rapid Fire
- Optic: Variable Zoom Scope
- Rear Grip: Quick Draw Grip
- Stock: Lightweight Stock
This loadout primarily boosts two different stats: fire rate and mobility. Fire rate is addressed with the Muzzle Booster and the Rapid Fire Barrel. The Muzzle Booster improves fire rate by 2.5%, lowering recoil in the process, while the Rapid Fire Barrel boosts the stat by 5%, also lowering recoil. As the TAC-50 is a bolt-action sniper, you don’t need much recoil control. The added fire rate allows you to get shots off quicker after firing one, which is quite helpful when you’re in a tense gunfight.
In the middle of the loadout there’s the Variable Zoom Scope, which is my optic of choice. This scope offers zooms of 4x and 8x, allowing you to see enemies easier up close or from far away. However, if you prefer another optic, such as the Sniper Scope or the CQBSS, you can run that just as well.
Wrapping up the TAC-50 loadout are two mobility attachments. First is the Quick Draw Rear Grip, increasing aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time by 10% each. Next is the Lightweight Stock, which improves sprint speed and aim down sights move speed. The latter stat allows you to strafe much faster, making long-range engagements more manageable.
And with those five attachments equipped, you have one of the best overall TAC-50 loadouts possible in XDefiant.
