Niantic has scheduled the Pokemon Go Sunshine Cup in the middle of May, which follows on from the Little Cup, and many trainers are eager to know the best team for the tournament. Pokemon Go obviously has several different types of Pokemon that can be used in the game, so choosing the right team for success is essential. Which Is the Best Team for the Pokemon Go Sunshine Cup?

The best team for the Pokemon Go Sunshine Cup includes Pidgeot, Galarian Stunfisk, and Diggersby. This is the best team recommended by many players with the following moveset.

Team 01

  1. Pidgeot with Wing Attack, Feather Dance, and Brave Bird.
  2. Galarian Stunfisk with Mudshot, Rock Slide, and Earthquake.
  3. Diggersby with Quick Attack, Fire Punch, and Earthquake.

Pidgeot will be the leader Pokemon of the team, providing support and helping to deal massive damage. Galarina will be the closer Pokemon, while you can keep the Diggersby as a safe swap. Also, you can use the following teams in the Pokemon Go Sunshine Cup according to your play style.

Team 02

  1. Vigoroth with Counter, Body Slam, and Bulldoze.
  2. Noctowl with Wing Attack, Sky Attack, and Shadow Ball.
  3. Pidgeot with Wing Attack, Feather Dance, and Brave Bird.

In this team for the Pokemon Go Sunshine Cup, Vigoroth will lead, Noctowl will be the safe swap, and Pidgeot will close the match.

Team 03

  1. Abomasnow with Powder Snow, Wheather Ball, and Energy Ball.
  2. Vigoroth with Counter, Body Slam, and Bulldoze.
  3. Dubwool with Double Kick, Payback, and Body Slam.

Abomasnow will lead while Vigoroth is on the safe swap, and  Dubwool will close the match.

What Is the Sunshine Cup?

The Pokemon Go Sunshine Cup is part of the Great League Edition and will run from May 10, 2023, to May 17, 2023. For this cup, you can only have Pokemon below 1500 CP, and only Normal-, Fire-, Grass-, and Ground-type Pokémon are allowed. In addition, Charizard is excluded from this cup.
