Water is life. At least in the real world, it is. In Enshrouded, it’s merely a resource you can use for a buff. Necessary? No. Helpful? Of course. More useful early in the game, Water gives you a handy boost to endurance and stamina for a set amount of time. As a consumable, you lose it once you use it. So, you want to develop a good Enshrouded Water farm so you can stock up on as much of the resource as possible.
How To Farm Water in Enshrouded
There are a few ways to get water in Enshrouded without finding a farm for it. Throughout the game, especially in the beginning, you’ll find the occasional Water bottle via looting. Kill some enemies, loot through crates, tables, etc. Those don’t guarantee the consumable, however, but it’s a decent way to find some while you’re doing other things.
But if you want the most profitable way to gather it, you want to develop an Enshrouded Water farm. This is done via a Well. Below are certain Enshrouded Water Well locations:
- Longkeep
- Harvest Homestead
Besides those places, you can check out almost any marked settlement for a Well. But the two above are guaranteed to have one that’s easy to find. Gathering Water from a Well is straightforward, and it always replenishes itself after a certain amount of time.
Beyond finding them, the best course of action is to craft a Well for your Water farm in Enshrouded. This can happen once you get a Carpenter in your base. You want to work your way up to crafting the Improved Water Well as it offers more water each time and even refills at a quicker pace.
Developing A Well Farm
Now that we know how we can get Water in Enshrouded, it’s time to farm it. This will save you time hunting down the consumable as loot or waiting for the allocated amount of time to pass for the Well to refill itself.
It all boils down to setting up a Flame Altar by a Well of your choice or you can just use the one at your base. From here, all we have to do is exit the game and reload it. The Water Well will automatically replenish each time you reload Enshrouded, thus creating a farm loop.
It pays well to craft several Water Wells for this purpose since you have more to gather from. The more water you have, the more you can give yourself endurance and stamina recharge boosts. So, gather your resources and unlock access to crafting Wells ASAP. It’s the easiest and best way to ensure you always have water whenever you need it.
