Unlike in other entries, Decorations are random drops in Monster Hunter World. Since you can’t craft one, filling up just one more level of Divine Blessing or Attack Boost could be a huge pain in the neck. For that reason, you will need a surefire way to collect as many Decos as possible in the shortest amount of time. Thankfully, MHW Iceborne provides not just one means to farm Decorations in the game.

The easiest way to get as many Decorations as you can in MHW Iceborne is by farming Event Quests. In total, six Event Quests reward you with bonus Decorations, which we have listed below. For the High Rank Event Quests, you will want to grab the shinies that often appear after the Great Jagras and Lavasioth attacks you.

In case your internet’s out or are just bored farming the same MHW Iceborne monsters over and over for Decorations, then there are other methods. First, you can use the Meld Decorations menu by talking with the Elder Melder NPC on Astera and Seliana. No doubt you’ve gathered lots of cheap Decos that you don’t need often like Health Boost. Trade them along with Streamstones in High Rank or Guiding Lands materials in Master Rank to meld new ones.

Other than that, you can also do Tempered monster Investigations to farm Decorations in MHW Iceborne. Look for the ones with purple boxes for Feystones, which are Decorations before they are appraised at the end of the quest. This works for both High and Master Rank, although the reward pool is mixed with Streamstones too in High Rank.

To conclude, here are the three best methods to farm Decorations in MHW Iceborne:

  1. Do Event Quests. Two are High Rank Quests, while Master Rank players can play the other four.
  2. Meld them from Elder Melder. You will need Streamstones or Guiding Lands materials.
  3. Do Tempered Investigations. Grab the ones with the most purple boxes.
