Dyson Sphere Program features plenty of materials and ingredients to discover out in space. But if you want to save time, you’ll learn some shortcuts to farm the right ingredients to upgrade the right components. Deuterium is one of those ingredients needed to upgrade Particle Containers so you can have more Strange Matter. To keep you from wasting time in Dyson Sphere Program, we’ve discovered the best ways you can farm the material Deuterium.

As we mentioned, Deuterium is a vital ingredient to upgrade the Particle Containers. Without it, you can’t get Strange Matter, which means you cannot create Graviton Lens. As you see, every material in Dyson Sphere Program leads to something greater, and Deuterium is no different. But just how do you situate your space colony to best produce the material, especially in the early stages of the game? Well, you use fractionators.

Create fractionator loops of around 10. There’s no waste in hydrogen, and on a Tier 3 belt, you can produce most of the Deuterium you’ll need at the start of Dyson Sphere Program in minutes. Try not to exceed 10 fractionators in a single loop though. We know that it seems like the more you have, the better. However, fractionators become less efficient the more you have. So, keeping things around 10 is a sweet point for high-output Deuterium production.

Even so, you can eventually set up more if you have the space for it. A good way to expand your loop is to merge new hydrogen every now and then. It can curb the loss of efficiency while allowing you to further increase your Deuterium output.

Another solid way to produce plenty of Deuterium material in Dyson Sphere Program is through orbital collection. This is ideal for the later stages of the game while fractionators help during the beginning stages. It takes some time and a lot of work, but if you add more than a dozen collectors on a handful of different gas giants, you can grow your Deuterium production tenfold.

In the meantime, work your way toward gaining as many gas giants as possible. The more versatility in your Deuterium collection in Dyson Sphere Program, the more you’ll have to use when the time comes.

Dyson Sphere Program is available on PC.
