Big Brother Season 26 is off to a very dramatic start. During the first week of play, the houseguests have been making connections, friends, and even enemies. Angela won the first Head of Household competition. However, things quickly turned sour when fellow houseguest Matt began to tell his fellow competitors that he believed Angela was going to put him on the block. Things then got heated when Angela told him that wasn’t the case. However, Matt claimed he could easily take himself off the block or survive elimination because of the connections he made in the house.
Later, Angela was forced to nominate three houseguests for elimination. She chose Kimo, Lisa, and Kenney as her nominees. Shortly after the nominations, Angela had a huge blowup fight with Matt in front of the rest of the houseguests. However, she had already given him a pass for the week. Of course, Big Brother fans know to expect the unexpected. (Spoilers below!)
Big Brother 26 Brings the Drama for Week One as Veto Results Are Revealed
However, thanks to the live feeds we now know how the veto competition played out. The live feed sessions have revealed that Lisa won the power of veto, reports ScreenRant. Of course, she used the power to take herself off of the block. This led Angela to put Matt on the block as her replacement.
To make things even more dramatic, Matt and Kenney are now on the block together. The two have developed a very close relationship in the game already. Later, while talking to Angela about the upcoming elimination competition, Kenney made a shocking statement, per Gold Derby. The undercover cop told HoH Angela that Matt was “his boy” and that he would like to throw the comp to him so that Matt could walk away from the block.
Kenney Makes A Shocking Confession That Blows Angela’s Mind
Of course, Angela was stunned by Kenney’s confession. Telling it like it is, Angela warned Kenney that Matt isn’t his son and that he should focus on his own game.
“You’re telling me you have no desire to fight in the arena for your life in this game because you don’t wanna go and beat him?” Angela said. “That’s what I’m hearing. I’m sorry, at the end of the day, this is you fighting for your life every day in this game.”
There is a possibility that Kenney could be saying all of this to make Matt feel secure. However, because of the bond that the two men have already solidified, it seems he may be telling the truth.
Next on Big Brother 26, Kimo, Kenney, and Matt will compete in a competition. The winner will be removed from the block. The other two will be subjected to a live vote, and one of them will be eliminated.
While drama is no stranger for Big Brother fans, week one of Season 26 is turning out to be intense. Angela’s Head of House win kicked it all off. Blow-up arguments, shocking announcements, a major veto win, and more will have fans on the edge of their seats as the first elimination nears.
