The truth is that fans have been asking for an All-Winners edition for quite some time. The idea of all the best players going up against one another seems like it would make for fantastic TV. Every fan of this show has at least one former winner they would love to see on the show again. After all, this is the longest running reality competition on TV with over two decades under their belt.
Some online rumor mills have even said that the show is already getting underway, though there is no way to prove that. We do know that CBS is chomping at the bit and is afraid of downtime, depending on how long the strike goes. But does that make them scabs? They’ve also hinted that the All Winners edition will run as a ‘winter season’. What that means is it will be decidedly shorter than the regular seasons of the show. It is an interesting idea, but one that could also cause CBS some real long-term problems if they are not careful.
