Billie Eilish made sure to thank everyone who listened to her “vision” as she shared her headline-making Vogue cover in May 2021. Gaining over 16 million Instagram likes for showing off blonde hair and far more skin than she usually does, the Grammy-winning singer went viral within minutes of sharing her look, one also gaining plenty of celebrity approval.
Billie, who is known for a signature baggy wardrobe and only very occasionally showing any skin, flaunted her curves tastefully as she modeled a custom-made corset in pink, also going edgy in latex gloves as she rocked the Kim Kardashian-adored fabric. Despite the post being over three years old, fans are still commenting. “Wow, Billie. You are so damned cute!” one user wrote in May.
Billie Eilish Shocks Instagram With Corset Look
Sending out a boss babe energy as she gazed down the camera’s lens, Billie flashed her curves in a heaving, low-cut corset in blush pink. Rocking Dolce & Gabbana couture and adding in a tan, latex skirt also from the Italian designer, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter stunned as she coordinated her latex gloves to her skirt, also flashing hints of the Agent Provocateur lingerie mentioned in her caption.
Posing against a pink backdrop, Billie ditched her usual loud hair dye for a classic blonde finish, throwing in retro ’50s accents from curls and pairing her new hairdo with a pink-centric face of makeup.
Billie, who matched both her lip color and her eyeshadow to her corset, took to her caption to thank named crew members, plus “The British vogue team for respecting my vision and making this come to life.”
Impressing Half Of Celebrity Instagram
The post is still one of the most-liked celebrity shares in history. Leaving Billie love were stars including supermodels Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski, actress Millie Bobby Brown, singer Madison Beer, plus TikTok star Addison Rae. In addition, the California-born singer gained likes from makeup mogul Kylie Jenner and model Kaia Gerber.
The accompanying feature and shoot also saw Billie rock designers Alexander McQueen and Burberry.
Of the shoot, Billie told Vogue: “I hated the way I looked before – I don’t love it now, but I feel a little more confident in myself and I’ve gotten a lot more proud of who I am and more open to things. I think [that shoot] opened my mind up for having an open mind in the future.”
Billie is followed by over 119 million on Instagram.
