Billy Ray Cyrus is not taking his estranged wife Firerose’s accusations about him lightly. Just days after she dropped the lawbreaking abuse accusations against him, he is coming back with some alarming claims of his own. On top of this, he claims he has witnesses to back him up.
Firerose and Billy Ray Cyrus’ divorce is growing nastier by the day. The celebrity couple is seemingly out for blood, and neither plans to back down soon. She claims Billy Ray has been abusive and cruel to her throughout their short-lived marriage, and he says the same about her.
New reports from InTouch indicate that Billy Ray Cyrus believes that Firerose is guilty of making her abuse allegations only to “sensationalize her false complaints by using the word ‘abuse.'”
Billy Ray also dropped his jaw-dropping accusations, claiming that he was the one who was abused during their relationship. “Not only verbally and emotionally by [Firerose], but also PHYSICALLY abused by [Firerose].” He also reveals that he has witnesses to back his claims, adding that his manager, Scott Adkins, witnessed Firerose’s behavior.
Lawyer Calls Firerose’ Abuse Accusations Against Billy Ray BS
Billy Ray Cyrus’ lawyer states that Firerose’s claims of abuse don’t add up. He feels that if she had suffered abuse at the hands of Billy Ray, she would have never begged the singer for another chance.
“If [Billy Ray] was indeed as abusive as [Firerose] claims, it is mindboggling to try and explain why, upon vacating [Billy Ray’s] premarital residence, [Firerose] would leave [Billy Ray] a handwritten note and then send him a text message stating in her word, ‘I am sorry’ and ‘please give me a chance to make this right. I can explain everything but i need you on my side.’”
In May, Billy Ray Cyrus made major moves to end his six-month marriage to Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rosie Hodges. The announcement surprised the singer’s fans. Cyrus states he wants her out of his life after alleging he discovered that she only married him for his money.
However, Firerose denies the accusations and has made many damaging accusations against Billy Ray. She claims he has a dangerous side, according to People Magazine. She says the singer kicked her out of their home one day before she was to undergo a double mastectomy.
