2K Games has finally announced Bioshock: The Collection. Coming to next-gen consoles and PC, Bioshock: The Collection will include all three games in the franchise. If you live in the states, you can pick up the collection on September 13. Australia gets the collection on the 15 and everyone else on the 16th.

Bioshock: The Collection runs at a beautiful 1080p and 60fps. The PC version of the first game, though, won’t be remastered. According to 2K the game “already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings.”
Don’t expect to see Bioshock 2’s multiplayer make an appearance, though. On the other hand, single player DLC Minerva’s Den and Burial at Sea are in the collection. The trials from the PS3 version of the original game are also in the game.
This is the first time all three games are packaged together. If you haven’t played the games before or want to hop back in, this collection is definitely for you. In addition to all the single player content and remastered graphics, the collection comes bundled with director’s commentary from Ken Levine as well as concept art.
For the $60 price tag, there is going to be much to love about Bioshock: The Collection. Would you kindly sound off in the comments below your thoughts and if you plan on picking this collection?
