The newest weekend challenge in BitLife has arrived! The Paranormal Challenge tasks players with owning haunted properties, exorcising and summoning entities within them, and even scaring someone to death! Whether you are eager to celebrate Halloween or just enjoy the thrill of the scary season, this challenge will make your experience in BitLife a little spookier. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to complete the Paranormal Challenge in BitLife.

(Updated on August 1, 2024 – Fact-checked and updated guide steps).

How to Complete the Paranormal Challenge in BitLife

The BitLife Paranormal Challenge has four tasks you will need to complete:

  • Own five or more haunted properties
  • Exorcise five or more entities
  • Summon 10+ entities
  • Scare someone to death

The first task asks you to own five or more haunted properties. Under the activities tab, find shopping and scroll down until you find a small list of real estate brokers. Choose either of them and choose any haunted property found in it. The type and number of haunted houses you find are random per year, so if you do not see any, you may need to age up and check again until you find some. Purchase five or more throughout your character’s lifetime to complete the first task.

The second task of the challenge asks you to exorcise five or more entities. Once you buy a haunted house, select the property under the assets tab on the main screen and find the spirits category. Select the ghost, and you will be given the option to summon or exorcise the spirit. If you work as an exorcist, you can do this yourself. Otherwise, you can hire someone to do it for you. If you want to attempt to knock out two tasks at once, you can summon the ghosts first before exorcising them. Trying to exorcise an entity with high activity levels will make it much more difficult, though, and every failed attempt will decrease their friendliness. In extreme cases, you may be attacked or killed by the ghost.

Next, you need to summon 10 or more entities. You must have at least one ghost in one of your haunted houses to summon. This means that if you exorcise all of the spirits in your haunted houses, you may need to purchase another to have more ghosts to summon. The steps to summon a ghost are similar to exorcising. However, instead of choosing to exorcise the ghost, summon it.

The final task asks you to scare someone to death. Since this has negative repercussions for your character, it is best to leave this for last. Navigate to the activities tab and find the crime category. Select kill, and choose any victim you wish. Whether you choose someone close to your character or a completely random person is entirely up to your personal preference for this challenge. Choose “scare to death” as your method. You are not guaranteed to succeed the first time you try to scare someone, so you may have to attempt it multiple times. After completing all of these tasks, you will have completed the Paranormal Challenge in BitLife.
