Some people choose to live a life of solitude in BitLife, while others try to make as many acquaintances as possible. It’s also enjoyable to make a best friend and show your appreciation towards them. During the BitLife Birthday Challenge, you are tasked with showing extra appreciation to your best friend by buying them Bitizenship.

(Updated on August 1, 2024 – Fact-checked and clarified the steps).

How to Get a Best Friend in BitLife

BitLife Best Friend

Before you can get a best friend, you will need to make a friend! There are a few different ways you can do this. The easiest way is to accept friendship requests that appear randomly throughout your character’s life. They often start appearing shortly after your character is born and will continue until the day they pass on. At any point, you can accept these requests.

Alternatively, you can befriend your classmates when your character is in school. You can do this during elementary, middle, or high school or even during university. To do this, navigate to the Occupations tab and select your school. Choose “Class,” and you will see a list of classmates to befriend. If you choose someone with a low relationship bar, they will ignore any attempts at conversation that you make.

Another method is befriending coworkers. Similarly, you can navigate to your job tab and select co-workers. A list of fellow employees and your supervisors will appear that you can interact with.

Once you make a friend, continue to interact with them until your relationship bar with them is maxed. These interactions include compliments, gifts, conversations, concerts, parties, and even watching YouTube. As your relationship bar goes up, there’s a chance that once you age up, your friends will ask to become best friends. It is worth noting that other people may ask you to become your best friend afterward if you accept the request. Accepting the second request will cause the new person to replace your current best friend. Once you get a best friend and buy them Bitizenship, you will complete the fourth and final task of the BitLife Birthday Challenge in BitLife!
