How to Own a Haunted Property

To buy and own a haunted property, navigate to the Activities tab and scroll down until you find the shopping category. Select any Real Estate Broker and scroll through the lists until you find a haunted house. If you can afford the house, purchase it! Whether a haunted house appears in the listings each year is random, so you will need to age up and check again if you do not find one. Furthermore, the type of property that becomes haunted is also random. You may check one year and see a haunted mansion, then check the next year and find a haunted bungalow. The type of property you buy is up to you. If you are trying to purchase multiple houses, though, getting cheaper properties may be easier.

Once you buy a haunted house, you will see a “Spirits” tab and a hauntedness bar. Selecting this tab will make a list of the spirits currently in your house appear. Open a ghost’s profile, and you will be given the option to exorcise it or summon it. Keep in mind that if you exorcise all of the ghosts in your house, the home will turn back into a regular property. However, you can use this to your advantage if you are low on money. Regular homes sell for more than a haunted house, so you can end up making thousands or even millions if you dedicate several years of your character’s life to doing this. Once you buy and own five or more haunted properties in BitLife, you will complete the first task of the Paranormal Challenge.
