A parking dispute in Anaheim, California, escalated after a man allegedly called a disabled Hispanic woman an “illegal alien” and threatened to call ICE. The woman said she was born in the United States.
According to the post that shared the video, the man’s truck blocked an accessible parking space while he unloaded mobility scooters. The confrontation was filmed and later shared on TikTok by @thatblackveteran. The video was also shared on X by @LongTimeHistory.
In the 26-second clip, the man wears a white long-sleeve shirt, jeans, and sunglasses. He stands facing the camera and repeatedly shouts, “Illegal alien. Illegal.” The woman responds that she was born in the U.S., but he appears to mock her claim.
He then turns back toward the truck, which has a loading ramp extended and several mobility scooters nearby. The man also claims to own the company shown on the truck.
He gestures while discussing the accessible parking space and remarks about the woman being “definitely mentally handicapped.” The video shows no physical violence and does not reveal how the dispute ended. According to the post, the truck was obstructing the parking space or its access aisle, preventing the woman from using it.
The incident drew further attention after a Spanish-speaking commentator said he contacted the man by phone. In a follow-up video shared on TikTok account @elmexibori69, he claimed the man returned his call and identified himself as the owner of Gold Mobility Scooters. The commentator said he demanded an apology to the woman and the Latino community. He also disputed claims that the man had been fired, repeatedly insisting that the person in the video was the business owner.
The commentator said the man initially denied intending to make a racist statement but later tried to explain his remarks. He also claimed the business had deleted critical Facebook comments and blocked him. These allegations come from the commentator’s account and have not been independently verified.
Internet Reacts to the California Parking Lot Video
TikTok comments criticized the man’s behavior and the confrontation. One person wrote, “choose peace and get away from Dumb people.” Another said, “That company should be ashamed of having that awful employee.”
A third commenter took a broader view, writing, “This is what people at the top want… see people at the bottom fight. Stupidity!”
Other commenters focused on the incident’s racial aspect. “It is so embarrassing to hear a black person talking like that,” one person wrote. Another added, “It never ceases to amaze me that a black man would be saying stuff like this.”
The original footage does not establish the man’s employment status or confirm whether the company took disciplinary action.
