I’ll be honest with you: I had more faith in seeing a Bloodborne PC port than seeing Black Myth: Wukong actually getting a release date. So, color me surprised when Game Science finally announced this stunning game is coming in a few months. Furthermore, there are some fantastic goodies for those looking to obtain the Collector’s Edition. So, what seemed to be a mirage is finally materializing into what aims to be one of the best action RPGs we’ve seen in recent years.
Our on-site team at Summer Game Fest saw the release date announcement for Black Myth: Wukong, and the crowd went wild with it. If you are unaware of why there is excitement, we have to go back to the game’s first trailers. Three years ago, we got the first gameplay reveal showcasing 13 minutes packed with over-the-top action and true ‘next-gen’ graphics. Now, with the latest trailer, the game has come a long way, and it has never lost the gorgeous visuals and slick gameplay.
Anyone wishing to obtain this action RPG can pre-order it now. Black Myth: Wukong is launching on August 20 for PS5 and PC. Currently, there are only physical deluxe and collector’s editions for PC, containing the following goodies:
Deluxe Edition | Collector’s Edition |
---|---|
Steel Case Steam Digital Deluxe Edition Activation Code The Constricting Band (1:1 Scale, Bronze) Chaos at the Peach Banquet (Color Print on Silk Scroll) Wind Chime (Necklace) Thunderstone (Ring) Stamps and Postcard Warranty Certificate | Steel Case Steam Digital Deluxe Edition Activation Code Confront Destiny – Protagonist Figurine (40cm) Teaching of the Heart Sutra (Color Print on Silk Scroll) Wind Chime (Necklace) Thunderstone (Ring) Stamps and Postcard Warranty Certificate |
If you prefer to go digital, deluxe edition owners will get the Folk Opera armor set, the Bronzecloud Staff weapon, and the Wind Chimes curio, plus the selected digital soundtrack. And regardless of the edition, every pre-order will grant the Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd. The developers announced you’ll be able to get this time by progressing through the game.
