Activision has shifted focus to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies marketing for a week now after updating TheTruthLies website to TheTruthDies. New videos featuring Mister Peeks are uploaded in this new Black Ops 6 Zombies teaser hub, and after the Gubblegums, we’re now introduced to a fresh Perk-A-Cola called the Melee Macchiato with only 57K calories and Element 115!
If you visit the TheTruthDies website and tune the TV to channel 5, you’ll see a new Black Ops 6 Zombies teaser that’s got the least details to put our teeth into. Obviously, there are a bunch of zombies running in the background, and then the caster says something about a volcano and explosion. Probably, a direct reference to whatever the mess Edward Richtofen did to Liberty Falls in the 90s; AKA Project Janus.
Now switch to channel 6. This is another teaser featuring Melee Macchiato for Black Ops 6 Zombies. There is no certain information on how this perk works, but it is evident that you’ll gain melee power or something. Maybe one-tapping targets by melee till you reach higher rounds? Nobody knows. This perk was never featured in the previous Call of Duty Zombies games.
Also, there’s a small easter egg in the Melee Macchiato perk Black Ops 6 teaser about the return of round-based zombies in this game. There’s an RBZ logo front and center, which probably stands for Round-Based Zombies. If you pay close attention, under the Quantity Sold title there’s another easter egg, referencing Element 115! This is a nod to the past Call of Duty Zombies era before the Dark Aether, or maybe Element 115 is just, back? Wow.
As it seems, players are going to experience the Black Ops 6 Zombies mode in this year’s Call of Duty Next event. So a lot of info and details about the maps, perks, and other gameplay elements will surface online as soon as August 28, 2024.
